 Got hits? “Addicted To Acoustic” definitely has an abundance of it because all 18 tracks are certified hits. This collection draws mainly from this season’s pop hits, a lot of which are the biggest songs of the moment like Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” , “Too Young” by Taylor Swift, “Lovebug” by the Jonas Brothers and “Thinking Of You” by Katie Perry, “Right Now (nanana)” by Akon “Ordinary People” by John Legend, “Decode” by Paramour, and “Single Ladies” and “If I Were A Boy” by Beyonce.
As the album’s title suggests, these all-hits, acoustic album is an aural fix for those who want easy, relaxing music. This CD is highly recommended if you’re really into acoustic-guitar driven music. You will certainly enjoy the stripped down versions of Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love” , Marie Digby’s “Say It Again” , Chris Brown’s “With You”, David Archuleta’s “Crush” , Colbie Calliat’s “Realize”, Shontelle’s “T-Shirt” and more.
 The voice behind this collection is Princess. Young, pretty and vivacious, with a soothing voice to boot, Princess listens to a whole lot of other music like funk, rock, standards, acid jazz, and also confesses an affinity for chick rock bands and artists like The Corrs, Plum, Jewel, BVKelly Clarkson, Alanis and other similar types. Though she confesses that “My first love has always been light-pop, so acoustic music really fits me to a T” she also dabbles professionally in jazz and bossa through her two previous bands. “I have no qualms doing these songs, I listen to all these artists and their songs and it’s an honor remaking them. People will be pleasantly surprised, these are all different takes of these well known hits.”
 It’s a tall order considering that she’s already remaking the hits of the current biggies of pop. Does she feel a wee bit conscious about it? “It’s ok to do these songs, this is different (acoustic versions) yet they still complimented the original versions.” Princess further makes a case of her serious love for music by adding; “I had a nine-to-five job in the field of marketing, and I taught college students part-time, but I love singing and performing. You can say that I’m addicted to it, because there’s never a day that I don’t sing, pick up a guitar or just plain listen to any song; I totally get a high on music.”  Princess gets to shine in “Addicted To Acoustic” an 18-track album of, you guessed it, acousticized hits. Heard this yesterday sa Halo halo de Iloko playing in the background while I was enjoying my scrumptious mix n' mix. Fell in love with the soothing music and the great angelic voice. I asked the waiter who was singing and she told me it was her. Kaya today I searched the net and found her imeem playlist. Gonna buy her album prolly' by the weekend...
